We serve a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others. Aker Carbon Capture is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials. 

Quality Manager

Are you an experienced and dedicated Quality Manager, with a strong passion for making a difference in the world and believe that technology is part of the solution to solve climate change?

Aker Carbon Capture is experiencing a high demand for our services and need to strengthen our capabilities across the organization. We are now looking to further strengthen our team by adding a Quality Manager.

Your responsibilities  

• Responsible for quality management systems and documentation as required in ISO 9001
• Develop our methods, work processes, procedures and requirements for construction and fabrication quality management
• Be responsible for the quality management of our construction and fabrication activities, subcontracts, and agreements. This includes product quality, supplier quality, engineering and fabrication
• Interact with our engineering and supply chain disciplines
• Define and follow-up product, project, and subcontractor quality requirements according to codes and standards used for fabrication and construction of products and project deliveries
• Perform reviews, examinations, audits, and inspections of suppliers and subcontractors
• Develop cost effective inspection strategies including strategic partnering
• Implement and follow up quality KPI’s and targets
• Establish system for quality assurance for projects and products

Your qualifications

• Strong HSSE mindset
• Commercial mindset
• IWE or IWI certification with minimum 10 years relevant experience
• Experience with NDT and relevant standards
• Preferably experience with CE marking
• Experience from quality management from construction or fabrication activities, as well as developing and maintaining quality management systems
• In depth knowledge and experience with codes and standards such as PED, European Machine Directive, EN1090, EN/ISO 3834, ISO 13480
• Multidisciplinary understanding with analytic mind and strong communication skills
• Experience from land-based industry and projects and follow-up of deliveries
• Innovative mindset who challenges status quo to see opportunities to implement new technology to improve the processes
