Job Summary
Design/create the artwork and visual tools to help manage the Capstone branding and marketing efforts as requested by the Marketing and Communications Directors. Maintain CA brand standards regarding giveaways, advertisements, videos, photos, training, products, etc., for global markets. Manage photography, video, and campaign visual elements for Berger brand marketing purposes and support other CA brands. Help manage budgets and provide administrative support for the Director of Marketing. Support multimedia efforts for trade shows, sponsorships, event planning, product development, promotional campaigns, and any other branding visual elements.
This is a 4-10 shift schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
1. |
Reports, follows direction, and provides limited executive assistant duties to the Director of Communications and provides other matrix support as assigned |
2. |
Builds/edits visual content for print/digital advertisements, trade shows, websites, catalogs, forums, blogs, social media, etc. |
3. |
Supports the research, selection, designs, and management of promotional items including work with external vendors. |
4. |
Produces content for creative marketing campaigns and general support for product lines and facilities. |
5. |
Supports trade show events (which may include travel and exposure to various weather conditions), demonstrations and assists with multimedia and overall marketing plans. |
6. |
Executes marketing team initiatives through appropriate channels such as print, social media, email, and other marketing communication instruments. |
7. |
Provides marketing support for advertising, recruiting, sales, and trade publications. |
8. |
Assists with website visual elements for Bergerbullets.com and CapstonePG.com. |
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• BS/BA degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience (3+ years) in marketing and/or graphic design preferred, but individuals with credentials reflecting similar skills may also be considered
• Work experience within graphic design fields or a similar related position
• Graphic Design Portfolio required (please provide link in your application or resume)
• Skilled in Multimedia platforms (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) A competency test will be required for potential candidates
• Thorough understanding of traditional and multimedia tools
• MS Office Suite proficiency and excellent writing and editing skills required
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills required
• Well organized and high attention to detail
• Occasional travel (10%) to assist events, trade shows, etc.
• Candidates having a passion for firearms/shooting and the outdoors
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES – If Applicable
• Experience Portfolio (other projects, videos, photography, etc.)
• Experience as a Marketing Specialist or related work in field
• Photography experience
• Understanding of typography
• Video editing competency and/or knowledge (Premier Pro)
• General firearms competency and/or knowledge
• Competitive shooting experience and/or knowledge
• Hunting experience and/or knowledge
• Website management (HTML, CSS) and email deployment skills a bonus
TRAVEL
The position requires 10% travel.

The work environment is a standard office space with own office, desk, and storage. Weekly meetings with the Director of Marketing. For the most part ambient room temperatures and lighting as found in a typical office environment •
