Mainframe System Programmer
Candidiate should be a z/OS Programmer supporting the IBM mainframe computer system, program products and subsystems.
Responsibilities:
Ongoing maintenance(install, patching, upgrades, administration, etc.,) of the mainframe z/OS operating system, accompanying storage systems and systems software products(e.g.,database,transaction server, security management, scheduling, report distribution, et.) and UNIX Systems Services.
The candidate will be required to provide Production 24/7 coverage(if required) and support weekend implementations.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with VTAM and TCP/IP.
10+ years of experience wotrking with z/OS JES2/SMP/E,TSO,IOCP/HCD, program product installations, working knowledge or the IBM virtual tape system and UNIX System Services.
Working knowledge of CICS,IMS, DB2 and AFP printing is a plus.
Experience in using monitoring tools such as OMEGAMON.
Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementation.
Excellent Communications skills(Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.

NYC location- Manhattan 9-5pm hours.
Baccalaureate degree and/or experience equivalent.
