Candidate will be analyzing a variety of complex structured products in the organization's growing, internally-managed fixed income porfolio. This position will report to the Senior Portfolio Manager for Structured Products. Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree & 3-5 years exp. in institutional, fixed income structured product research. Preference may be given to candidates who have obtained their MBA or CFA degrees. Any CFA study is a plus!

Duties include, but are not limited to :
1.Evaluate & analyze credit & structures for Collaterized Loan Obligations (CLO),Commerical Mortgage Backed Security(CMBS), Asset Backed Security(ABS), Mortgage Backed Security(MBS)etc. on a daily basis using internal & industry tools.
2.Produce written reports incuding structured product evaluations & quarterly updates, credit memors & industry reviews.
3.Research & analyze collateral & structures, analyze loan details & issuer information on new issue Collateralized Loan Obligations(CLO), Commercial Mortgage Backed Security (CMBS),Residential Mortgage Backed Security(RMBS), Asset Backed Secrity(ABS) etc.
4.Utilize venor-based research to reflect changes in structgured products modeling assumptions.
5.Provide fundamental & relative value research to generate structured product driven investment ideas & strategies to enhance portfolio returns & mitigate risk, exercising prudence in balancing both risk & expected return.
6.Maintain relationship w/ sell-side strategies to achieve best ideas within structured products.
7.Performing ongoing due diligence & surveillance of structured portfolio positionis, & communicating updates in a timely fashion.
8.Strong communication skills, a demonstrated ability to effectively interact with senior manaGement & a track record of individual initiative as required.

10.Candidate should be experienced using standard evaluation tools such as: Intex Caic, Trepp,eMBS, Markit, Bloomberg, Yieldbook & Point, Andrew Davidson Vectgor, Blackrock Aladdin a Plus+.
Minimum Travel. Must be a resident of New York State or willing to relocate.
