Your Mission:

As a Tax Intern at Wallbox HQ in Barcelona, your mission is to support our finance team in ensuring compliance with tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions. You will play a vital role in organizing and managing the tax calendar, preparing essential tax documentation, and responding to tax authorities' requirements.

Your role is not only to assist with current tax obligations but also to actively improve and automate internal tax processes. By balancing your creativity and analytical skills, you will help the tax team become more efficient and effective, contributing to Wallbox's mission of changing the way the world uses energy. This internship is designed to be a learning experience, where you will develop a deep understanding of international tax practices while contributing to the success of the company as a global leader in electric vehicle charging and energy management.

You will:

• Assist in the day-to-day tax internal queries related to business.
• Organize the tax calendar and control the tax department deadlines.
• Work with Excel files to organize the accounting information for tax purposes.
• Assist with the preparation of different tax obligations in Spain (IS, IRPF, VAT) and other EU countries.
• Assist with other tax compliance obligations (SII, Intrastat).
• Check weekly and manage tax requirements from Tax Authorities of all our subsidiaries.
• Be able to create and improve internal tax-related processes and move towards automatization (innovation and creativity).
• Be continuously learning, adapting, and innovating.

Requirements

• Law/business degree.
• Currently coursing a Master in taxation (preferable).
• Basic knowledge of taxes.
• Interest on direct / indirect taxes.
• Spanish Law knowledge.
• Solid English spoken & written.
• Tax accounting knowledge considered an advantage.
• Experience with Netsuite ERP considered an advantage.
