Software Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist at Alohi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute robust test plans to identify software defects and ensure adherence to quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand system requirements and provide timely feedback on design and implementation aspects.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Identifying, tracking, and documenting software defects
• Performing functional, regression, and system testing
• Conducting performance and load testing to ensure scalability and stability
• Collaborating with developers and product managers to provide feedback on system requirements and design
• Monitoring software development processes to identify and resolve issues
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
• Experience in designing and executing test cases for web-based and mobile applications
• Working knowledge of testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Jira, and TestRail
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Fluency in English (proficient to native)
