We are looking for a dynamic <strong>Procurement Project Leader</strong> to join our team and lead the procurement activities for our key projects.<br></p><p><strong>Purpose of the Role:</strong></p><p>As a <strong>Procurement Project Leader</strong>, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and controlling all procurement aspects of assigned projects. You will ensure supplier capability, material availability, and on-time delivery (OTD), while collaborating closely with project management, sourcing, and other internal stakeholders. You will also manage the daily performance of suppliers to ensure project success.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li><strong>Project Supply Chain & Sourcing Lead:</strong> Serve as the main point of contact for supply chain and sourcing issues within a project, representing these functions and ensuring sourcing capabilities align with project requirements.</li> <li><strong>Supplier Management:</strong> Act as the single point of contact for suppliers within a project, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration to meet project goals.</li> <li><strong>Procurement Project Plan:</strong> Create, maintain, and execute a comprehensive procurement project plan, covering scope, objectives, schedules, roles, supplier risks, and material costs.</li> <li><strong>Supplier Performance Management:</strong> Oversee supplier on-time delivery, material availability, and overall performance, mitigating risks and ensuring project success.</li> <li><strong>Order & Delivery Process Management:</strong> Manage the end-to-end purchase order process, ensuring all parties are informed and material flow is uninterrupted.</li> <li><strong>Supplier Risk Mitigation:</strong> Identify, manage, and mitigate supplier risks, providing timely updates to all relevant stakeholders.</li> <li><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with project management, sourcing, and R&D teams to address supply chain and procurement needs.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Competencies:</strong></p><ul> <li><strong>Educational Background:</strong> A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related supply chain field.</li> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> At least five years of experience in supply chain management, project management (IPMA-D preferred), and collaboration with R&D.</li> <li><strong>Project Purchasing Expertise:</strong> A proven track record of excellence in project purchasing, supplier management, and project delivery performance.</li> <li><strong>Problem-Solving & Lean Skills:</strong> Strong problem-solving skills with an understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.</li> <li><strong>Communication Skills:</strong> Fluent in both written and spoken English, with excellent interpersonal skills to manage supplier relationships and internal communications.
