Korean Content Manager
For Datawords Office in Barcelona as part of the Korean Content Production Dpt., your main responsibilities would include:
- Handling projects during Korean holidays and outside of normal work hours in Korean time.
- Project coordination in a bustling, deadline-driven environment.
- Working closely with clients in Korean-speaking markets and multinational internal teams
- Quality control of Korean content in a wide variety of styles, terminologies, and formats
- Overseeing the creation of editorial briefs and glossaries
- Ensuring translation adheres to the client’s desired style, tone of voice, and brand image
- Balancing budgets, negotiating deadlines, and ensuring profitability of projects
- Training of translators, post-editors, and proofreaders
- Linguistic Project Coordination in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment in collaboration with the multilingual and internal production HQ teams in Paris
Desired Profile:
- Highly adaptable, first-rate writing/editing skills in your native language are central to the role.
- BA or MA in Translation Studies/Audiovisual Translation or similar
- Education and professional experience in your native language
- Great adaptability: appreciation for a young and multicultural work environment
- Strong work ethic, team player, dedicated to seeing challenging projects through to completion
- Working languages: Korean (native-speaker level required) high level of English
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Previous experience in translation is highly desirable
- Linguistic project management, journalistic, or translation background
- Excellent knowledge of Office tools, interest in new technologies, computer savvy
- Experience with Trados Studio a plus
