We are looking for a highly motivated laboratory student to join our analytics team, who is passionate about Analytical Chemistry and who wants an internship with professional challenges and long-term personal development. You will primarily work at our laboratories in Østerbro, where you will be taught by a highly skilled team of analytical chemists. Here you get the opportunity to put into practice the qualifications that you have gained through your education. Start date is September.

After one year, the position can be converted to a permanent job.

Responsibilities and tasks

The successful candidate will work in coordination with the analytical team in the following areas.

 Main learning tasks:

·       Assist in the preparation and analysis of samples using various analytical techniques (eg.; chromatography, spectroscopy, microscopy).

·       Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.

·       Accurately record and interpret data, ensure adherence to quality standards.

·       Support development and validation of new analytical methods.

·       Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and timely project completion.

 

Additional tasks:

·       Laboratory maintenance

·       Media, reagent, and solution preparation

·       Autoclaving laboratory material

·       Organizing laboratory material

·       Waste disposal

 

Qualifications

·       Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.

·       Great attention to detail and organizational skills.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

·       Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
