About the Opportunity  

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll oversee the entire quality control process, ensuring food safety and quality standards meet Australian regulations and client expectations. With high-quality raw ingredients sourced globally, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our product excellence. You’ll identify inefficiencies and investigate supplier food safety issues, ensuring every product meets our high standards. Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Oversee and conduct internal food safety/quality assurance audits (HACCP, GMP’s, pest control, product recall, production codes, finished product review/release, calibration of critical instruments, etc.) and validate changes to food safety fundamentals/plans. 

• Manage third-party audits for food safety, BRC, HACCP, and ACO organic certifications. 

• Manage Rainforest Alliance supply chain. 

• Ensure and maintain vendor quality for new and existing vendors, including audits and self-audit questionnaires. 

• Create and revise product specifications as needed for changes in process, food safety, quality, or legality. 

• Verify bag labels, destuffing reports, and pallet notes for inbound shipments. 

• Work closely with the Logistics Team to ensure CofAs are sent out in line with customer deliveries. 

• Work closely with Logistics Team to help resolve local issues relating to quality and damaged goods in a timely manner. 

• Address customer opportunities and complaints with Sales support.   

About You - Our Ideal Candidate 

• Proven track record of minimum 5 years in Quality Assurance within the food/beverage industry or a related industry. 

• Excellent communication skills. 

• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite. 

• Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills. 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
