Prep Cook

Do you want to sharpen your kitchen skills or gain experience working in a restaurant kitchen? We’re looking for Prep Cooks to join our team!

Part-time and full-time positions for Prep Cooks. Day and Night shifts are available.

Prep Cooks are responsible for the food guests rave about! You will prep ingredients and recipes to set our Line Cooks up for success.

 

PREP COOKS RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recipe Adherence
• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food in a fast-paced environment
• Support the BOH team
• Answer, report and follow Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager’s instructions
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food is fresh and Village Tavern standards
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Arrive on time and in clean, pressed uniform with a positive attitude ready to work

 

This is a great opportunity for a hardworking team player with basic kitchen skills looking to learn and grow in the restaurant industry.

Candidates must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train someone with a great attitude and willingness to work hard.
