We are looking for an Assistant Store Leader – Merchandising for our flagship location to advance our brand’s visual identity and ensure an elevated in-store experience.
As a Visual Merchandising Assistant Store Leader, you will work closely with Store Leader of Visual Merchandising + Product Operations to ensure the store not only meets business results but also maintains a visually captivating and cohesive retail environment that embodies the SKIMS brand ethos. You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills while having a significant impact on the visual representation of the store.
In this role, you will drive your business with a design-first mindset, using your passion for product presentation, operational efficiency, and team development to create a seamless and compelling shopping experience. You will be responsible for building and nurturing a team of creative and diverse individuals who can bring the SKIMS brand to life through visually impactful displays. You demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills and are energized by solving visual challenges in a dynamic retail environment.

Your Day to Day:
· Oversee the visual merchandising strategy and execution in the flagship store, ensuring that all displays reflect SKIMS’ brand identity, current trends, and seasonal initiatives.
· Support the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
· Build and lead a team of supervisors and team members, fostering creativity and innovation in display execution.
· Regularly update product displays and signage to reflect new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal changes, ensuring that our customers can easily find what they are looking for. React quickly to sell through and make adjustments as needed to maximize business results and productivity.
· Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
· Create an inviting and immersive customer-centric environment through impactful visual storytelling, ensuring that the store layout enhances the overall shopping experience.
· Partner with the store management team to manage inventory levels, product placement, and replenishment to support both visual and business objectives. Share feedback and communicate on assortment, allocation, and logistics feedback.
· Analyze store performance and adjust visual merchandising strategies accordingly to drive customer engagement, increase conversion rates, and meet financial goals.
· Maintain high visual standards throughout the store, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and an appealing product presentation at all times.
· Ensure that all team members are well-educated on SKIMS products and brand values to communicate effectively with customers and enhance product storytelling through displays.
· Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, enabling you to make informed decisions regarding product placement and promotions.
· Demonstrate strong leadership skills by motivating and coaching the sales team to achieve individual and store targets.
· Prioritize customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner.

· Experience in a leadership role focused on visual merchandising in a high-end retail environment, preferably within a flagship or high-traffic store.
· Proven track record of creating visually compelling retail displays that drive customer engagement and align with brand guidelines.
· Strong leadership and team development skills with experience building and nurturing creative teams.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams including corporate, merchandising, and marketing.
· Keen eye for design and detail, with a deep understanding of visual merchandising principles and retail trends.
· Ability to analyze business metrics and adjust visual strategies to drive results.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the needs of the business.
What is expected of you:
· Must bend, reach, and stretch for product, as well as lift, carry and move at least 40 pounds.
· Have a minimum of 40 hours of availability per week that supports the needs of the business, including: nights, weekends, and holidays as well as overtime where applicable.
· Must regularly stand and move around all areas of the store and be accessible to customers.
