Who you are:
The Central Student Pastor is the architect, chief visionary, and culture builder for Lakepointe Students. You have the experience and the passion to coach and equip student pastors to fulfill the mission on each campus. You are an experienced networker who can connect with other student ministry thought leaders to shape the student ministry culture at Lakepointe.
What you'll do:
- Establish the overall vision and strategy of Lakepointe Students
- Provide ongoing coaching for each Student Pastor while coordinator with Campus Pastors
- Create and teach training modules for all Student Pastors on key competencies for ministry
- Actively engage in and contribute to monthly worship sessions during All Staff
- Oversee the onboarding process of new Student Pastors
- Develop and maintain a nationwide network of Student Pastors and ministries for benchmarking and talent acquisition
- Create and implement a plan for how Student Ministry residents will be effectively launched into ministry at their campus
- Establish goals and key metrics to measure if each campus is accomplishing the defined outcomes for Lakepointe Students
- Have a presence at each campus providing coaching and feedback on how to accomplish the vision of Lakepointe Students
- Provide leadership for the Central Student Ministry staff
- Develop the arc for each Lakepointe Students program providing direction for staff members to execute
- Be the face of Lakepointe Students
Skills & Experience you’ve had:
- Previous experience leading a student ministry
- Leadership, teaching, counseling education/experience
- Prior supervision of other student pastors preferred
