Keywords to look for Data Migrations (from legacy database to cloud), Currently customer is moving there database from SQL to AWS, we would need someone who was SQL DBA/Developer in past and has some exposure to SQL tuning and recent few projects has managed migration to cloud. Ideal candidate will be handing strong hands-on AWS experience, otherwise someone w/ very strong experience into Azure (data migrations) can also be considered. Incumbent will be managing a team of 2 developers who will take care of the SQL activities and incumbent will be solely responsible for AWS
Cloud Data Architect - Design , develop , test and maintain highly scalable data infrastructure (Cloud /data Architecture) and
build high-performance integrated data pipelines (Integrated Customer View)
Ensure standardized metadata , access protocols , and discovery mechanisms (Information Layer) Build data quality checks (Instrumentation layer) - Hands on experience on data migrations (good to have from MSSQL to AWS cloud )
- Provide architectural leadership in shaping strategic, business technology projects, with a strong Client on Data
- Drive improvements to the Big Data and Cloud Data Warehouse technologies stack, with a focus on the digital experience for the user, as well as application performance & security to meet the needs of the business and customers, now & in the future
- Lead on technical investigations & proof of concepts, both individually and as part of a team, including being hands - on with code, to make technical recommendations
- Take a lead role in setting up new project stubs & infrastructure, in collaboration with team leads & DevOps team
- Be an active stakeholder throughout the software development life cycle, overseeing the software design & ensuring the project maintains its technical direction while adjusting the technical design to mitigate unexpected blockers during the project
- Create documentation for Architecture Principles, UI design patterns & examples, technology roadmaps & future planning and get the respective approvals from ARB
- Good level of expertise in Advanced Analytics Technologies (especially Data Engineering and system integration, including performance tuning and sizing).
- Provide guidance, assistance and communication on architectural designs, definitions and guidelines to software vendors, internal and external project delivery teams, and IT service operations teams
- Provide domain specific architecture stewardship, leading, maintaining and leveraging the enterprise solutions
- Hands on experience Design and development of Data Lake and Help finalize the gaps and associated efforts for typical client problems in reporting
- Rich experience in design & implemented Enterprise Data Warehouse and exposure to Big Data and Cloud Data Warehouse technologies
- Experience in Data Management Solution Development with strong experience in SQL and NO SQL data bases
- Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Strong Experience on Data Modeling techniques and hands on experience in leading and providing the required data models by keeping business requirements in view
