Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Shipping / Receiving Clerk (Material Handler)

The Shipping / Receiving Clerk (Material Handler) is responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of materials within the warehouse and yard. This role supports production, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures a safe and organized workspace

Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for a Shipping / Receiving Clerk (Material Handler) who can meet the following essential functions of the position: 

• Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and accompanying documents
• Operate forklifts to safely load, unload, and move materials of various sizes
• Store materials in designated warehouse or yard locations following company procedures
• Track and document all material movement using internal software
• Prepare and kit materials for production requests and shipping to external sites
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse and yard areas
• Operate power tools and hand tools as necessary
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies
• Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike
• Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices
• Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
• Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
• Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks
• Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance
• Maintain good organization skills
• Perform other related duties as assigned

The Shipping / Receiving Clerk (Material Handler) has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Experience operating forklifts, and ability to pass and maintain safety certification requirements
• Comprehensive PC skills, including MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
• Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Wage range for this role is between $18.00 - $28.00/hourly
• Discretionary bonus
• Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. 
• The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
