Salary Range for this role is $88,000 - $121,000/year + Bonus
As a Consultant (Consumer Insights) within the Numerator Strategic Accounts Team (SAT), you’ll be a vital member of Numerator focusing on between 1-3 large Enterprise clients whose contracts include a specific number of weekly consulting support hours.
Your responsibility will be to serve as the day to day point of contact, engagement lead, and project manager for your assigned client(s). Your goal will be to serve as a trusted adviser to your client(s) – developing a deep understanding of our partners needs, key business objectives and supporting quarterly business reviews of accomplishments.
Client Interface: Collaborate directly with C-suite executives, consumer insights teams, shopper insights teams, category management, brand management, and field teams to address their most pressing business questions and challenges.
Analytic Insights: Utilize Numerator’s consumer panel and survey data to deliver powerful analytic insights and data-driven stories, aiming to drive increased sales and improve marketing effectiveness for our strategic customers.
Client Engagement: Partner with client services and customer success teams to drive engagement and maximize the utilization of contracted resources (consulting hours, platform access, survey credits, and custom projects). Create success stories that demonstrate ROI and expand client relationships beyond existing ones.
Innovative Solutions: Collaborate with clients and Numerator’s product team to develop, prototype, and pilot new solutions and enhanced capabilities. Bring the voice of customers back to the organization, contributing to the growth and innovation of the business.
Expert Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of Numerator solutions and services, including their key differentiators compared to legacy approaches and competing offerings.
Sales Support: Participate in sales cycles and presentations as a subject matter expert, showcasing your expertise in Numerator solutions and helping to drive sales efforts.
Thought Leadership: Create and customize relevant thought leadership content for clients, including webinars, training materials, blog posts, and industry presentations.
Travel: Travel as required to support the above responsibilities and ensure effective client engagement and project execution.

Bachelor’s Degree (required) or Master’s Degree (preferred) with 3+ years relevant experience
CPG experience in Brand Marketing, Market Research, Category Management and/or Shopper & Consumer Insights roles or experience, and/or as a service provider to these functions
Experience in consulting, product, sales support, and/or service delivery function in relevant software industry (e.g. Nielsen, Circana, etc.) is ideal
Working knowledge of enterprise software applications and services designed for the retail and consumer goods industries is highly valued (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, Dunnhumby)
Experience as a power user of Microsoft Excel and/or Business Intelligence software such as Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy, etc.
Based out of the Chicagoland area with willingness to travel onsite to the customer 1-2x/month
