Embedded System Engineer

Therap is a global company that provides information technology services to healthcare
professionals serving intellectually and developmentally disabled patient populations. Therap is
investigating ways to incorporate networked biometric devices into its service offerings. We are
seeking to hire an Embedded System Engineer, experienced in developing industry grade IoT
devices.

Responsibilities:

● Researching, creating, testing and documenting IoT solutions for Therap Platform
● Designing, programming and testing features of IoT devices
● Providing solutions to issues related to the connection of networks and platforms
● Designing, debugging and prototyping digital and analog circuits.
● Evaluating complex system requirements to provide robust and reliable hardware and
firmware solutions.
● Designing PCB to incorporate the appropriate components, making recommendations to
improve existing designs.
● Supervise the actual manufacturing process and train subordinates to ensure the
product meets industry and company standards
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in EEE/CSE or closely related discipline.
● Proficient knowledge of sensors and microcontrollers.
● Well-versed with multiple programming languages such as Embedded-C, Embedded
C++, JavaScript and Python.
● Knowledge of devices, COM protocols and data security.
● Experienced in designing PCB with Altium, KiCad or Eagle.
● Experienced in using circuit simulation tools.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Efficient communication skill and strong understanding of the project requirements.
● Work and collaborate well with others.

Ways to Stand Out:

● Experience in Robotics.
● Experience in Real Time Os and bare metal is a plus.
● Work experience with FPGA.
● Proven experience in firmware designing.
● Work/project experience in TinyMl, Embedded Ai, machine learning.
