Our client is a leading international car manufacturer known for innovation, sustainability, and cutting-edge automotive technology. With a global presence, they pride themselves on producing high-quality vehicles that meet the needs of a dynamic and evolving market. We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team and play a key role in supporting the continued growth.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance processes within the organization. This role will ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, monitor internal controls, and provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
General Ledger Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
Internal Controls: Implement and monitor effective internal control processes to ensure compliance with corporate policies and external regulations.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with the annual budget preparation, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
Audit & Compliance: Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure the smooth execution of audits, including the preparation of supporting documentation.
Cost Accounting: Work closely with production and supply chain teams to manage and analyze manufacturing costs and overheads.
Financial Analysis: Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and international tax regulations and filings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings clearly.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
