<p><strong>Position </strong><strong>Summary: Maintain</strong> and ensure that all equipment and machinery is capable of running safely and with a Zero-Defect Quality approach at all times. Maintain the building and grounds so they are presentable and safe at all times. </p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures in the plant.</li><li>Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment.</li><li>Execute line and equipment changeovers.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems during production.</li><li>Assist in the installation, start-up and qualification of new equipment.</li><li>Review equipment technical documentation to update preventative maintenance schedules.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time spent or other information as requested.</li><li>Work closely with production to quickly resolve technical issues.</li><li>Maintain clean and orderly workspaces and Maintenance shop.</li><li>Provide support to teams through training and coaching.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent mechanical aptitude through trade school or relevant job experience.</li><li>Basic electrical knowledge and ability to continue learning.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Strong Willingness to learn.</li><li>Ability to work overtime as needed.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of plant operations and functions of production equipment. </li><li>Excellent working together as a team or independently as necessary.</li><li>Knowledge of a maintenance spare part management system </li><li>The ability to initiate and coordinate plant equipment and facilities projects under the direction of the Plant Director.</li><li>Ability to machine parts using lathes mills welding equipment according to specifications.</li><li>Experience with Lock Out Tag Out</li><li>Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and reading skills; as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints.</li><li>Ability to work with hand and power tools in a safe manner.</li><li>Ability to use measurement devices such as tape measure and caliper.</li></ul><p> <strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. and to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting, bending, and standing, climbing or walking. </li></ul><p> </p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Expected hours: 40 per week.</p><p> </p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul><p> </p><p>Experience level:</p><ul><li>2 years</li><li>3 years</li></ul><p> </p><p>Schedule:</p><ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Evening shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Overtime</li><li>Weekends as needed</li></ul><p> </p><p> <strong>Good Manufacturing Practices for Food Safety:</strong>All Operations employee are responsible for the safety and quality of ViskoTeepak products.
