Job Description
The Salesforce.com Developer will be responsible for the configuration, development, testing, documentation, and deployment of CRM solutions on the salesforce.com platform.  The solutions encompass the service, community & marketing cloud. The Salesforce.com Developer must possess good interpersonal skills as he/she will partner with business analysts, end users, and IT personnel to create and implement end to end solutions. We need your ability to deconstruct complex business problems, design solutions that address cross-functional teams, and most importantly be a champion of change. 
 
Key Aspects of the Role
  • Designing, implementing, and deploying solutions supporting business processes excellence relying on the Salesforce platform as your primary toolset.
  • Customize and manage profiles, roles, security settings, sharing rules, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow, validation rules, approvals, etc.
  • Design and generate dashboards, reports and statistics that support better decision making and process improvement across all levels of the organization.
  • Work with end users to provide best practices and tips on Salesforce usage including training, documentation and support; development of reporting and validation logic to ensure that best practices and processes are being upheld.
  • Ability to work in a team, to understand business requirements and convert them into a technical design, and to collaborate with business analysts and users to define solutions.
  • Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes
  • Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the data to support additional business processes or functions
  • Work with business analysts and users to understand their business processes and requirements.
  • Responsible for the SFDC configurations and customizations needed to deliver the desired solution.
  • Develop or enhance custom objects, Visual Force pages, APEX classes, triggers and services, reports, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Manage fields/relationships, workflow rules, approval processes, page layouts, security, validation rules, email notifications, custom buttons/links, etc.
  • Understand, maintain, and enhance business processes that are implemented in Salesforce.com.
  • Manage ongoing production support issues.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Perform data hygiene and best practices by performing routine maintenance
  • Ensure data security is enforced by the use of roles, profiles, and sharing rules
  • Assist users with report design and management
  • Prepare project documentation including technical specifications and unit test scripts.
  • Perform unit testing and fix any defects. Support the user acceptance test activities.
  • Create Change Sets and deploy from the development sandbox to the fulldata sandbox to production.
  • Clearly communicate project task status to key stakeholders throughout the development process.
  • Leverage comprehensive understanding of salesforce.com products and platform to provide relevant adoption and technical recommendations on solutions and enhancements customized to customers' business needs
  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the salesforce.com platform coupled with a good understanding of common business processes. ¿ Must be a confident self-starter individual who can completely own the delivery of high value work products. ¿
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, users, and senior management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness and ability to learn new software features.
  • Analyzing requirements to determine appropriate solution designs considering capabilities, limitations, and design trade-offs.
  • Design and implement an end-to-end sales process, evaluating tools to enhance these workflows where appropriate.
  • Configure working prototypes in a development sandbox if required, and validate and refine prototypes.
  • Work with Global Team across the global teams.
 
 
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of overall IT experience, with at least 4 years of direct experience in Salesforce. com development.
  • Highly developed listening skills, excellent customer service skills, and strong professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems, and produce documentation, guidance, and instructions to users.
  • Self-starter mentality with an enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven, team oriented start-up environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and detail orientation with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Experience in business process optimization role.
  • Exposure to the SFDC data model, data architecture, and data management. ¿
  • Salesforce.com skills (including permissions, roles, profiles, queues, views, and page layouts).¿
  • Salesforce.com  Developer Certification (required)
  • Deep knowledge and experience with entire Salesforce suite of products; expertise in Salesforce architecture, processes/flows, testing and deployment; and wide exposure to 3rd-party applications and integrations
  • Good knowledge of Visual Force (Page, Component and Controllers), Salesforce.com configurations, Apex classes, Apex Triggers, Apex batch processing, Apex Web services and APIs, Test Coverage classes, S-Controls, Validations Rules, Workflows, Assignment rules, JavaScript, and custom objects and fields.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs, SOAP- and/or REST-based web services, SOQL/SOSL, HTML, and CSS a plus.
  • Understanding of key SFDC architectural concepts (e.¿g.¿ API, governor limits, and test coverage) and how they influence design.
  • Working knowledge of Lightning components, Salesforce mobile platform, XML, SQL.
  • Experience of using Service, Community Cloud and Experience.
  • Experience of using Lightning within Community Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud is Big Plus.
  • Experience in moving code from sandboxes to production and addressing post deployment issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into requirements
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or related field
