About the Combat Medic
ARK is looking to build a roster to recruit experienced Combat Medic Trainers to deliver tactical medicine courses for military and police organizations in the Middle East and Haiti. The training will be delivered to TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) standard or equivalent and will focus on casualty stabilisation and the administering of field treatments intended to support life pending medical evacuation.
Haiti-focussed TCCC trainers will report to the ARK Operations Manager responsible for supporting capacity building of the Haiti National Police (HNP), supported by the Government of Canada. In the medium to longer term, ARK will select a lead trainer from among the successful candidates who will handle setting and monitoring the technical standards for TCCC techniques and methods of instructions. Middle East focussed trainers will report to regional project managers.
