The ideal location for the role is Oulu, Finland.</p><p><strong>What you’ll </strong><strong>do</strong><br></p><p>As an IT Manager you play a crucial role in overseeing the organization’s end-user services and IT infrastructure and ensuring that all IT systems run smoothly. This position involves managing service providers, coordinating with other departments to understand their needs, and implementing solutions that enhance productivity and security. The initial focus areas of the position will be end-user services and IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:</p><ul> <li><strong>Planning</strong>: Developing and executing IT plans that align with the company’s goals.</li> <li><strong>Vendor management</strong>: Negotiating and managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.</li> <li><strong>Information security</strong>: Maintain and develop information security policies and procedures to protect the organization’s data and IT infrastructure. </li> <li><strong>Project management</strong>: Overseeing IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budge</li><li><strong>Continual improvement</strong>: Utilize problem management and continual incremental changes to ensure the reliability and security of the company’s information assets.</li><li><strong>System maintenance:</strong> You plan, coordinate and oversee regular system maintenance.</li></ul><p><strong>What you’ll bring</strong></p><p>We believe that the best match for this role has the following qualifications:<br></p><ul> <li>+5 years of work experience managing IT services and service providers</li> <li>Master’s or Bachelor's degree in relevant field</li> <li>Solid understanding of ITSM processes, industry best practices and relevant standards</li> <li>Familiar with IAM, endpoint management, servers and virtualization, networks</li></ul><p>Desired skills:</p><ul> <li>Results oriented and data driven approach </li> <li>Fluent communication skills, both spoken and written</li> <li>Project management and agile methodologies</li> <li>On-premise server technologies, LAN/WAN networking, Public cloud</li> <li>Server and desktop operating systems</li> <li>Problem solving and root cause analysis</li></ul><p><strong>What you’ll get</strong><br></p><p>We offer you a workplace within a collaborative and forward-thinking company culture.
