Graphic Designer (DTP)

Location: Makati City, Philippines (Hybrid Work Model)

Role Summary: We are in search of an intermediate graphic designer with background in working for DTP projects (Desktop publishing). This role will work with the Rich Content team of Datawords Philippines in handling DTP projects for our international luxury brands customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Linguistic localization (integration of translations into layouts from any language around the world)
• Visual work (resizing, processing)
• Minimal graphic design work for the comprehensive Layout
• Quality control
• Master layout/sources analysis and preparation for localization
• Coordination on technical aspects with multicultural teams in France and Hong-Kong

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational background in Multimedia Arts, Animation, and related courses
• 1-2 years of experience in editorial design, graphic design 
• At least intermediate proficiency in Adobe CC: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat pro
• Knowledgeable to use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Knowledgeable in quality compliance for the DTP (Desktop Publishing)
• Has high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Very useful if you have already done layouts in complex Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai) or Middle Eastern languages (Arabic)
• Nice to have if you can use other programs from Adobe CC, Figma
• Nice to have: graphic quality assurance experience
