Internship Summary
Are you looking for an internship that provides real life experience?
Phoenix Contact’s ICE-IF Product Team is looking for a Summer 2024 Industrial Engineer - PEX intern to assist with the implementation and follow through with PEX and Lean manufacturing.
Our Fall interns work part time around their class schedule.
What does a typical day look like?
Intern will start the day with brief meeting with manager or mentor and then will work with mentor on the assigned projects. The assigned projects will include various continuous improvement efforts like line balancing, value stream mapping, BiTE (cost reduction initiatives) and technical documentation creation.
What makes this internship unique?
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about continuous improvement, electronics manufacturing, and LEAN. A student would desire this internship because it would set them up for a rewarding career in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement. The student would also be able to list multiple projects and achievements to their resume early in their career.
