Are you looking to advance your Finance career by having true impact in an exciting, fast paced business? As a Senior Management Accountant at Blink, you will be an integral part of a small but impactful global finance function, building scalable finance processes. 

Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, this role would be perfect for someone who wants to fast track their career by gaining exposure across all aspects of finance within a commercially minded team.

Key Deliverables will include: 

  • Running our month end close to deliver high quality management accounts to senior members of the business
  • Build and maintain our budgeting and forecasting processes to inform and underpin our company strategy
  • Improving the operational efficiency of our finance function through running quarterly projects, with a focus on automation
  • Analysis and interpretation of business costs, providing insights throughout the business
  • Finance business partnering with other departments to add value 
  • Preparing the weekly cash flow forecast, and working with the FC on fund allocation
  • Building and using PowerBI to make analysis more efficient and meaningful across a variety of teams within the business
  • Ad Hoc reporting and analysis
  • Involvement in our year end Audit, including assistance with consolidation of accounts
  • Task management of bookkeeper and junior finance team member

Requirements

We're looking for someone who is ambitious and wants to develop and progress quickly in a fast-growing company. This is not your average management accounting position, this will suit someone who wants to be part of building something new and exciting. 

We are also looking for:

  • Someone who has recently qualified in ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience including involvement in a month end process with cost analysis, maintaining balance sheet reconciliations (particularly prepayments and accruals), providing operational analysis and business partnering experience
  • A higher education degree is required, ideally in a Finance related discipline
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability
  • Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
  • Experienced using Xero or similar accounting software is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with the Google Suite of products is an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills, proven experience meeting and beating deadlines
  • Self Motivated and driven, comfortable questioning things, and eager to learn and thrive in a high functioning team 
  • A strong communicator with the the ability to influence others with effective, clearly, and concise communications

Please note this is a hybrid position, you will be required to be in our central London Office on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
