Caterpillar - Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Our client a very large commercial agricultural farm in Angola ( West Africa) involved in commercial agriculture is looking to hire three experienced heavy duty mechanics with specific experience in working in a CATERPILLAR brand concessionary or workshop.

Job Description and Profile –Heavy Equipment Mechanic

• Job's Objective
• Employees in this job perform a variety of activities designed to service, repair and maintain pieces of state-owned heavy equipment
• Main Responsibilities
• Performs maintenance and repair activities on various pieces of heavy equipment
• Diagnoses, services and repairs various systems that are found on pieces of heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions in the equipment and repair.
• Performs routine maintenance checks and adjustments on such things as fluid levels, hoses, belts, brakes, tires, and clutches; changes filters and oil, and lubricates vehicles and motor driven equipment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles and engines.
• MUST have minimum 7 year’s experience working for CATERPILLAR Brand Concessionary/Workshop
• Must be willing to relocate to Angola in West Africa and live on a very large farm of over 40,000 hectares

Benefits

USD 1500/- Basic salary + USD 250/- miscellaneous allowance + Free accommodation and Free food + annual leave + air ticket to home country.
