Cranes Specialist - Shipyard Projects

In this role as a Cranes Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing crane operations, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times. You will work closely with other team members to coordinate and execute crane-related activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and performing regular maintenance on the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate crane operations to ensure safety and efficiency
• Conduct inspections of cranes and related equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Perform routine maintenance on cranes, including lubrication and replacement of parts
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during crane operations
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth execution of crane-related activities
• Maintain accurate records of crane operations and maintenance activities
• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in crane technology

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiar with cranes of all types, such as Gantry, Overhead, Jib, and Portal cranes.
• Familiar with construction site requirements and dealing with EPC contractors.
• Experience in Shipyards projects.
• Proven experience as a Cranes Specialist or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of crane operations, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
