In this role as a Cranes Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing crane operations, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times. You will work closely with other team members to coordinate and execute crane-related activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and performing regular maintenance on the equipment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate crane operations to ensure safety and efficiency
- Conduct inspections of cranes and related equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes, including lubrication and replacement of parts
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during crane operations
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth execution of crane-related activities
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations and maintenance activities
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in crane technology
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiar with cranes of all types, such as Gantry, Overhead, Jib, and Portal cranes.
- Familiar with construction site requirements and dealing with EPC contractors.
- Experience in Shipyards projects.
- Proven experience as a Cranes Specialist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of crane operations, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
