Operations Support Analyst

Position Summary:

As Operations Support Analyst, you will support Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC)'s efforts to improve coordination and communication between surface ship maintainers and operators that will build long-term trust and improve confidence in evolving relationships.

The goal of this project is to standardize policy and processes across the RMCs to facilitate the sharing of best practices, improved contract oversight, consistency in work performance, and higher standards of quality. As a result, CNRMC will be able to more effectively deploy fully qualified Sailors and civilians to any RMC location to meet surge industrial requirements as a result of operational or fiscal necessity.


Clearance Required:
  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and sustain effective relationships with senior management & identifying opportunities within the CNRMC's network
  • Collaborate with implementation & development teams to enhance service delivery
  • Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management
  • Provide reports and statistical/analytical information for management and clients
  • Establishes and manages effective, consistent communication with Client personnel
  • Identifies and address business needs; provides guidance and timely responses to questions and requests
  • Continual improvement of process flows to lower cost and improve outcomes

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • Bachelor's level degree
  • 7-10 years professional experience in operations support
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the principles and processes of computerized business and operating systems
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) products is required
  • Ability to initiate and follow through on projects
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal or no supervision
  • Experience with using data analytics to assess performance
  • Ability to understand and meet clients' needs and special requests

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with CNRMC or other Regional Maintenance Center

Physical Demands and Expectations:
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting
  • Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance
  • Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment
