We are in search of an experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance department, contributing to our financial strategy and supporting the growth of our company. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, including expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical skills, dedicated to driving financial performance and enhancing financial processes. Proficiency in English and Malay is vital for effective communication with our diverse team and external partners.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the company’s goals, under the guidance of the Finance Controller and CFO.

- Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, offering insights and analyses to guide executive decisions.

- Conduct risk management through a thorough analysis of the organization’s financial status and market trends.

- Lead the finance team, providing direction, oversight, and opportunities for professional development.

- Enhance and maintain financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and controls.

- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

- Foster relationships with investors, banking institutions, and external auditors.

- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and audit processes efficiently.

- Generate and present detailed reports on financial performance on a regular basis.

- Engage in forecasting and reporting to senior executives, employing methods to minimize financial risk.

- Coordinate audit services to ensure up-to-date financial monitoring.

- Establish and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including bankers and accountants.

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in a Finance Manager role or similar, with deep knowledge of financial statistics and accounting principles. - Familiarity with statutory legislation and regulations.

- Fluent in English and Malay, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and financial management software.

- Exceptional leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.

- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

- Strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail.

- At least 5 years of experience in financial management.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA/CPA) highly regarded.
