Remote Position
Seeking a resource with expertise in critical platforms, including HyperV, Oracle Linux, and OLVM
Specific skills needed include: - Unix knowledge (HPUX, AIX).
- Strong Linux skills, with a focus on Oracle Linux (mission-critical workloads), Red Hat, and Ubuntu.
- Some Windows experience is beneficial, but deep Linux/Unix expertise is preferred.
- Virtualization expertise in VMWare, OLVM (Oracle hypervisor), and HyperV.
- Competence in storage management.
- Advisory role on best practices and standards to prevent defects and incidents.
- Experience with platform modernization efforts, considering the client's technical debt and the need for tech refresh and upgrades.
- Involvement in driving automation initiatives is a plus.
- Proficiency in performance tuning techniques.
