Account Executive – Zeeland, Michigan

DISHER is currently looking for an Account Executive to join the Sales and Marketing Team. In this role, you will identify and nurture strategic relationships with partners and potential customers. You will lead the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities for DISHER through direct and indirect customer contact and prospecting.

What you will get to do:

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and engage new potential clients seeking professional consulting services
  • Conduct comprehensive research on target companies and industries to gain insights into their needs and challenges
  • Actively pursue opportunities through cold calling and marketing efforts to effectively communicate our service offerings and tailor solutions to client requirements
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, providing regular forecasts and reports on progress
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions that may impact our services and shares findings with the greater team
  • Develop a deep understanding of DISHER’s Product & Process areas, including the product development lifecycle, and consulting services
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for new business acquisition
  • Work to achieve a high conversion rate from leads to closed deals
  • Contribute significantly to the overall growth of our engineering consulting services

What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience within business development, market and competitor analysis, lead generation, prospecting, and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, professional services or engineering consulting
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with a “hunter” mentality and a drive to exceed targets
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with executives and decision-makers
  • Demonstrated ability to pursue opportunities with professionalism and positivity
  • Expertise in cultivating long-lasting business relationships
  • Proficient in identifying client challenges and proposing effective solutions
  • Capable of managing multiple prospects and opportunities simultaneously
  • Flexible in approach, with the ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, and other sales tools
  • Display the ability to collaborate and build Trusting Relationships with customers and interdepartmental teams, contributing to successful project outcomes
  • Stay up to date on industry trends through ongoing learning and adapting strategies that drive innovation
  • Serve Customers by understanding and prioritizing their needs, actively contributing to the overall success of DISHER
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time mainly within West Michigan, and other areas as needed including trade shows, conferences, networking events, etc.
  • Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations.
