Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of UX designers, providing mentorship, guidance, and feedback to help them grow and develop their skills.
- Define and implement UX design processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality design outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and user stories.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Lead design reviews and critiques to ensure designs meet user needs, business objectives, and technical requirements.
- Advocate for the user experience throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design, sharing insights and recommendations with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Design, an adjacent field, or relevant certification
- 10+ years of UI/UX design experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Experience applying user-centered design methodologies, planning and conducting user research, usability testing, rapid prototyping, conducting heuristic analysis, and addressing accessibility concerns.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and the impact of your work on user experiences.
- Experience working with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
- Analytical skills with proven ability to dissect problems, devise solutions, and drive valuable business results.
- Clear and effective communication skills to relay design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, user research methodologies, and usability best practices.
- Experience producing User Personas and Customer Journey maps.
- Experience with prototyping and design specification tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
- Passion to resolve client and user pain points through great design
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development frameworks
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Willingness to step in when needed and take on variable roles and assignments within reasonable parameters of your abilities
- Willingness to travel (up to 10%) periodically. Currently we are not requiring travel to client engagements.

3Cloud offers competitive compensation. In addition to base pay employees are eligible to receive an annual discretionary/utilization bonus. If you are hired at 3Cloud your final base salary is based on factors such as skills, education, experience and/or geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above includes the full base salary range for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
Base Salary Range
$140,000—$183,500 USD
