Will be responsible to remediate and enhance ColdFusion or .NET applications to ensure they adhere to WCAG 2.0 AA web accessibility standard. Perform development task within .NET component or services and other necessary web development activities as required during the DMV modernization program. Will perform analysis of existing application and make coding changes necessary for completion of required tasks. Will be responsible for developing detailed unit and system test plans. Additional tasks the developer will be responsible for:
- system analysis and design using UML documentation
- design of web forms and reusable/shared web components
- creation of business logic components and methods
- project planning and documentation relative to the to the business rules and remediating any defects found in testing
- creation of a comprehensive help document for users as a reference and training guide development of post-production support plans
- development of user acceptance process
Software DeveloperIs involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
Senior 60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
- 72 months experience developing application/system documentation using the Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- 72 months experience coding with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- 72 months experience coding ColdFusion
- 60 months experience in developing Responsive Web Design (RWD) applications and using Front-End Web UI Frameworks
- 72 months experience writing (CRUD) statements and using Stored Procedures
- 60 months experience using source code controller such as TFS and GIT
- 60 months experience integrating with Web Services (SOAP/REST)
- 48 months experience Developing to Web Accessibility Standards and using Accessibility Testing Products
- 48 months experience coding .NET and Unit Test
