Our client is lossking for a Java Developer to help build a high-performance platform for a company focused on helping pharmacies offer the lowest prescription drug prices through integration with top drug discount card vendors. If you’re passionate about developing stable and performant systems, this is the opportunity for you!
Your Mission:- Utilize Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework to build a brand-new platform that interfaces with multiple drug discount card vendors, providing pharmacies with real-time pricing data.
- Serverless and AWS Integration
- Implement caching mechanisms like Redis and ElasticSearch to optimize system performance and ensure fast, reliable access to drug pricing information.
- Use Docker for containerization, ensuring efficient application deployment and management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to build out the platform, with the potential for long-term feature development after the initial build and go-live.
- Enhance & Operate Mode: Once the platform is live, move into Enhance & Operate mode, focusing on performance improvements, platform stability, and adding new features as needed.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:- Proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework for backend development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and serverless architecture to build scalable, cloud-native applications.
- Experience with Docker for containerization and managing application deployments.
- Strong understanding of caching technologies like Redis and ElasticSearch to enhance platform performance.
- Familiarity with high-performance, scalable systems and a focus on platform stability and performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering solutions quickly and efficiently.
Nice to Have:- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with working on projects that transition from initial build to Enhance & Operate mode.
Additional Details:- Location: Anywhere in Mexico (remote work from home)
- Eligibility: Only fluent English speakers and legal residents/locals can be considered (directly hired as a fulltime employee).
- Contract Type: Direct hire, indefinite contract.
