Job Description:
The Project Manager is responsible managing the different work streams of a distributed Scrum team, as well as assisting with facilitating the Agile process and removing roadblocks to get teams working effectively. Additional responsibilities include educating, training, evangelizing, and encouraging a continuous and transparent project management process, and to drive improvement philosophy at all levels of the development organization. Project management relative to migration of large applications involving multiple teams and work streams preferred. Responsible for delivering IT Services projects to schedule, budget and quality. Experience executing projects using Agile methods. Excellent stakeholder relationship management, including external customer-facing experience is required. PM must possess the skills to successfully lead and manage the project team and project stakeholders, and have expertise recognized and requested by customers Understand the big-picture, priorities and align the customers and technical staff to meet those objectives
Responsibilities:
· Work with the package development teams, scrum master and product owners to create a collaborative environment.
· Participate in Scrum events: Roadmap Planning, Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Daily Standups, etc.
· Protect the teams from distractions by removing impediments at all levels of the organization..
· Provide thought leadership around Project Management and Agile best practices to internal teams and management.
· Fine tune engagement processes to deliver successfully within the corporate culture.
· Collaborate across package development teams and other functional groups as required to remove impediments and deliver on time for successful project deliveries.
· Provide leadership and direction to the teams, business partners and management, and empower the teams to self-organize.
· Work with the support teams to understand needs and collect details from various stakeholders and team members to ensure smooth application support and migrations.
Requirements
· Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience.
. PM certification desired
· Minimum of three years Agile PM experience
· Experience managing multiple concurrent projects/workstreams
· Management of teams in a cross-functional structure
· Strong facilitation experience
Good to have skills
• Certified in Agile practices - SAFe® Practitioner, Scrum Master, etc
• Certifications in Business Analysis
• Good understanding of ITIL process and ServiceNow Lifecycle.
