*** M/S Tele RN Nights - 36hrs. *** 1. Unit Name: Davenport 9. 2. Brief Unit Description: D9 is a 39-bed medical /telemetry unit servicing the inpatient adult population. Our patients generally have multiple medical conditions in addition the admitting diagnosis. We have 20 private rooms and 19 semiprivate. 3. Years of Experience Required: 2 years is preferred. 4. Skill Sets Required: telemetry experience, nursing assessment skills, knowledge of medication safety and administration. 5. Clinician to Patient Ratio: RNs working with a PCA typically have 4 patients but can go up to 5 at times. RNs working alone have 3 patients. 6. Patient Population: Medical, low risk cardiac. 7. Bed Count: 39. 8. Census: usually 36-38. 9. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. 10. Floating Required: Travelers are required to float to applicable units when needed. 11. Rotating Shifts Required: Day rotators may be rotated to 11a-11p or 7p-7a shifts when needed. Rotation frequency is usually low. 12. Certifications Required: BLS. •
