About the Role

Our client is seeking a senior or expert-level music producer and engineer for their album project. The project focuses on grunge and hard rock genres and requires comprehensive production services including tracking, producing, mixing, and mastering. This short-term engagement is based in Fort Worth, United States, with a preference for on-location work, though remote options may be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the artist to understand their vision for the album
• Provide expert guidance on song arrangements and production techniques
• Conduct professional-grade tracking sessions for all instruments and vocals
• Produce and refine the recorded tracks to achieve the desired grunge and hard rock sound
• Mix the tracks using both analog and digital techniques to create a cohesive album sound

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior music producer and engineer, with a strong portfolio in grunge and hard rock genres
• Extensive knowledge of analog console operation and analog recording techniques
• Proficiency in modern digital audio workstations and production software
• Demonstrated ability to produce, mix, and master professional-quality recordings
• Strong ear for music arrangement and production aesthetics in the grunge and hard rock styles
