client is a leading bank. need local and should have good banking domain exp.Position SummaryThis is a Business Analyst role for a motivated individual to join the bank to support our business and will be involved in key regulatory projects working with multiple product areas to gather business requirements and propose solutions in order to help meet the regulatory deadlines.
The Business Analyst will participate in the following aspects of the project lifecycle:
- Project Initiation: project scoping and planning
- Business Analysis: requirements gathering and documentation
- Functional Design: preparation and documentation of Functional Specifications and Use Cases
- Technical Design: review of Technical Specifications
- Test planning, Preparation and Execution: preparation of system and integration test plans, test cases and test progress reporting
Core responsibilities:
- Partner with the business to define requirements and deliver world-class, competitive solutions.
- Design solutions that align technology roadmaps to business strategy.
- Conduct high-quality business analysis, functional design, system, integration testing and UAT.
- Focus vigorously on standardization, simplification and reducing complexity across DB.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and the regulatory landscape.
- Deliver solutions that are aware of cost management and return significant value to DB.
- Facilitate and coordinate UAT process
- Identify and escalate risks and issues to the Project Manager
- Support reporting of project progress at regular intervals to management and produce key documentation for distribution
- Manage strategic initiatives, develop plans, create executive level presentations, conduct meetings, provide status reports and interact with senior managers
- Share knowledge with the BA team to promote best practices and share new tools and techniques
Skills and Education Required:General- Experience with Regulatory projects like Volcker and Dodd Frank is required
- Prior work experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services firm, knowledge of SDLC
- Possess a degree from an accredited university in Business, Economics, Engineering or Science
- Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple initiatives
- Excellent communication skills and strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Proactive, enthusiastic and delivery-focused
- Strong work ethics, detail oriented and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to fast changing environment
