Program Protection Analyst join our Maritime and Security team at JRC! This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Program Protection Manager in reviewing the Program Protection Implementation Plan (PPIP) and managing the Program Protection Plan (PPP) for SSP command and field activities.
As the Program Protection Analyst, you will...
- Assist with updating Critical Program Information (CPI) and assessing the associated risk; analyze the functional design for vulnerabilities and identify protections to mitigate reverse engineering, exploitation, replication or development of countermeasures
- Review and development of security provisions in technical reviews, specifications engineering and test plans/designs
- Integrate security engineering disciplines and security specialties
- Lead program protection analyses for program and system information for CPI and Trusted Networks
- Coordinate and assist the command, branches and field activities in the development and implementation of the Program Protection programs to include: ACAT1 instructions, risk assessments, training plans, CPI determination matrices, briefings, presentations and training manuals
- Provide support for Program Protection planning and implantation milestone tracking
- Support the analytical, operational, advisory and evaluative duties regarding Program Protection
- Drive the deliverable milestones and assess schedule impacts for projects
- Craft reports, executive summaries, presentations, and correspondence as directed
- Maintain program infrastructure and support new DoD and DoN directives and command initiatives
What you bring to the table...
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years of Program Protection experience
- An active DoD security clearance at the SECRET level (or above) or have held an active clearance within the past 2 years.
- Knowledge of applicable DoD and DoN Program Protection requirements and guidance
- Experience liaising between multiple DoD Programs and external entities
- Keen analytical skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- A security background with a focus in Program Protection
- Graduate of the ACQ 160 Program Protection Planning Awareness program
- Experience with Security Classification Guides (SCG), Counterintelligence Support Plans (CISP), Criticality Analysis, Anti –Tamper (AT) Plan and Cybersecurity Strategy
- Experience with DoD and DoN Program Protection policy and procedure
