Key Responsibilities

• Involve in overall financial and accounting functions of the Company.
• Work with shared service team on closing process and reporting package submission.
• Monitor month-end financial close transactions hitting the general ledger and verifying their acceptability and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Support management reporting.
• Review and clearing of reconciliations on timely basis.
• Involve in annual budget and forecast exercise.
• Manage audit and tax submission.
• Ensure effective internal control procedures and compliance of accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements.
• Review and maintain insurance coverage.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agent, solicitors, bankers, company secretary and other external parties.
• Support ad hoc projects

Requirements

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/ Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• FMCG/ retail industry (B2C) experience, with regional (SEA) exposure is highly desired
• Advance proficiency of Microsoft Excel, SAP experience is an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A good team player.
• Ability to work independently and flexible with good attitude.
• Ability to provide effective solutions to ad hoc business needs.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight reporting timeline.
