About the Role

Our client is seeking a mid-level to senior music producer for an ongoing collaboration to bring their written songs to life. This personal project aims to refine and produce the songwriter's music, starting with an initial session of a few hours and potentially developing into a long-term partnership.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the songwriter to understand their vision for each song
• Provide expert guidance on arranging and producing the written songs
• Create professional-quality instrumental tracks to complement the songs
• Offer creative input to enhance the overall sound and structure of the music
• Record and edit vocal performances if required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a music producer, with a strong portfolio of completed works
• Mid-level to senior expertise in music production techniques
• Proficiency with industry-standard digital audio workstations and recording equipment
• Strong understanding of various musical genres and current industry trends
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the songwriter
• Ability to translate creative ideas into polished, professional recordings
