About Methodist Hospital - Providing high quality care to patients from San Antonio, and from around the world, for more than 50 years
Methodist Hospital opened in 1963 as the first hospital in the now internationally acclaimed South Texas Medical Center. From the beginning, we’ve recognized the unique needs of each of our patients. It’s a process that we continue to improve on, creating ways to better serve the community when they need us most.
Our hospital has deep-rooted traditions of patient-focused care, faith-based philosophies and hiring staff that genuinely care for the well-being of others. As an organization, we promise to provide you, the patient, the highest quality of service and treatment as we strive to carry out the mission of Methodist Healthcare: Serving Humanity to Honor God.
Methodist Hospital offers a broad range of specialties including cardiology, cancer care, bone marrow transplants, emergency medicine, neurosciences, maternity care, gynecology and orthopedics. We are proud to say we have some of the best doctors in San Antonio at our facility.
