Job Description:
· This role uses professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve highly complex problems in creative and effective ways. Some barrier-to-entry exists at this level such as a dependency on management and peer reviews as well as the ability to follow company and professional standards.
· This role works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
· This person exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
· This role will work with the Digital Workplace – Messaging Lead to architect Messaging technologies.
· This position will be required to provide guidance to personnel and work directly with customers and vendors.
· This position requires 8 to 12+ years of experience and expertise in profession.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Expert-Level in Microsoft Exchange 2016/2013 Server and integrated technologies
· Strong hands on experience in complex Microsoft Exchange enterprise environment
· Expert-Level experience in Configuring and Administration of High Availability environment for Exchange Services
· Strong experience with Email gateway technologies like Proof-Point, McAfee and SMG
· Environmental changes – consolidation, platform upgrades, and divestitures of Exchange, Office 365/Exchange Online
· Strong experience in Enterprise vault and other archiving technologies for Exchange.
· Responsible for working with the Client Service Delivery Manager (SDM), Client Client Account Executive (CE) and direct client manager to strengthen Client' position as a strategic partner and IT Services Provider for the client.
· Superior customer facing and technical skills including ability to develop "trusted advisor” relationship with Enterprise customers
· Provide recommendations on the evolution of the infrastructure to meet short, medium and long-term objectives as it relates to Digital Workplace Collaboration.
· Provide recommendations regarding improvement and enhancements of the technologies supporting Digital Workplace Collaboration.
· Test, where appropriate and possible, in a production simulated laboratory environment any new Digital Workplace Collaboration technology prior to production implementation.
· Optimize the performance of the systems environment, including reconfiguration, maintenance and/or upgrades.
· Plan, Develop, Test, Provision, Administer and manage all related systems related to Digital Workplace Messaging
· Manage and plan both hardware and software upgrades as necessary for Digital Workplace Messaging technologies.
· Create and maintain all documentation for all architecture, build, integration, transition and maintain phases of the Digital Workplace Messaging technologies.
· Conduct hardware capacity planning and make recommendations based on future direction and needs as it relates to supporting Digital Workplace Messaging technologies.
· Support partnerships with Microsoft and other vendors that make up the Digital Workplace technology area.
Secondary functions:
· Train client's Digital Workplace IT support team as needed.
· Provide Level 3 support to client's Service Desk and Level 2 engineers as needed.
· Have working knowledge of and keep current on Network Infrastructure Topology as it relates to Digital Workplace messaging technologies.
Necessary skills:
· Expert-Level in messaging technologies such as Exchange 2013, Exchange 2016, and Office 365 Exchange Online.
· Advance-Level understanding of Email gateway technologies like Proof-Point, McAfee and SMG
· High-Level of understanding of Microsoft's Productivity Software – Collaboration Suite ( Skype for Business, SharePoint, OneDrive)
· Strong understanding of ITIL.
· Must be able to collaborate effectively with other associates within the organization.
· Ability and willingness to take direction from team Lead, SDM and Client Executives.
· Ability to work in a team environment.
· Able to adapt to a changing technical environment.
· Ability to coach other members of team in their area of expertise.
· Ability to communicate clearly with all team members and end-users.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell.
Certifications / Experience / Training needed:
· 10+ years of working with Microsoft Exchange 2013/2016 and O365 Exchange Online technologies
· 5-7 years of Microsoft and Networking Technical Experience
· Proven experience in managing complex Microsoft Exchange enterprise environment Collaboration Migrations for large global enterprises
· Solid understanding of O365 Exchange Online technologies
· Solid understanding of Email gateway technologies like Proof-Point, McAfee and SMG
· Good Understanding of Enterprise vault and other archiving technologies
· Proven ability to work on large-scale global deployments in multiple locations
· Strong understanding of networks and related WAN/LAN technologies
· Strong understanding of TCP/IP and Network communications
· 4-year degree or equivalent experience
· Microsoft Certifications in the Microsoft technologies required for this position
