We’re looking for a Natural Channel Sales Lead to join our familia. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

About you:

  • Dull powerpoint presentations are a hard no from you. You always say, “More is more!” And your scholarly presentations show it. 
  • Your organizational skills are top-tier. To-do lists, color-coded planners, and detailed spreadsheets are just the start when it comes to the handy dandy tools you use on the daily. 
  • You’re a people-person, not a purple people eater. 
  • You may have previously favorited KeHE Connect, SPINS, and the UNFI portal on your computer.
  • When it comes to all things Siete in Natural Channel grocery stores, you’re ready to elevate relationships to the next level. 
  • Been there, done that! You know how to utilize your network of brokers and distributor partners to accomplish revenue and strategic goals. 
  • You make managing trade spending and sales expense budgets look “easy peasy lemon squeezy!” 
  • The thrill of working in a fast-paced, start-up culture gets you hopping out of bed in the morning. 

What you will do:

  • Directly manage key Natural Channel independents like Erewhon, Earth Fare, Mothers Market, plus the balance of Natural Channel Independents. 
  • Achieve revenue targets, new item launch goals, and seize opportunities.
  • Monitor customer execution and broker performance against annual objectives.
  • Create action plans to address challenges and opportunities (i.e. filling voids or increasing YoY same store sales).
  • Develop, implement, and continually assess customer specific sales plans to achieve revenue and distribution goals.
  • Conduct regular field visits with broker sales representatives.
  • Manage, influence, and lead relationships with brokers, distributors, and customers to achieve department goals.
  • Demonstrate understanding of market conditions and events, customer issues, and competitive intelligence to develop a comprehensive sales plan.
  • Contact and schedule appointments with natural channel customers including business reviews, line extensions, promotion programs, etc.
  • Lead key internal selling processes for your Natural Channel team
  • Willing to travel an average of 35% and attend trade shows.

Your experience:

  • 1-2 years experience in consumer packaged goods sales is required; natural food channel experience is preferred.   
  • Business analytics experience using Excel and Sales data within resources such as SPINS, IRI, and customer portals is required.
  • Existing knowledge of the natural channel’s customers, distributors, brokers, etc. and a solid understanding of the natural channel’s customers, their requirements, needs and trends.
  • College degree in Sales, Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.
