Stamm Technologies, a leading provider of IT Services, is looking for Network Engineers with exceptional people skills to provide outstanding technical support in our fast paced environment.
The majority of our clients rely on Stamm Technologies as their sole technology resource, so this position requires handling a broad range of clients and tasks.
We currently have multiple openings in our Milwaukee office for both Service Desk technicians and Field Engineers (onsite). If you have a preference, please specify that in your cover letter.

Requirements:
- 2+ years of consulting/technical support experience
- Serve as subject matter expert for Microsoft product lines and Windows specific technologies (e.g. Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, SQL Server, and Exchange)
- Experience in VMWare ESX/Virtualization Technologies (ESX/i, vCenter, P2V tools).
- Provide end-user support such as management of anti-spyware and anti-virus utilities, basic networking, printing, password resets, profile migrations, and more.
- A strong understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, IMAP4, POP3, OWA, LDAP, etc.
- Participate in evening and weekend support and maintenance activities as needed.
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotation.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Work well both independently and as a member of a high performance team
- Ability to work with clients who are under pressure/deadlines
- Punctuality and ability to meet deadlines and schedules
- Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
- Excellent logic and problem solving skills
- Ability to evaluate clients’ needs and make recommendations for upgrades
- Great documentation skills, including use of Visio
- A car, a valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance and willingness to travel to client location throughout the Milwaukee area on a regular basis to provide on-site support and consulting
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Fortinet appliances
- Experience with Macs and cross platform support experience a major plus
- Experience with Cloud-based solutions like Google Apps and Hosted Exchange
- Experience in help desk support if you are applying for the Service Desk position
- Experience in onsite support if you are applying for the Field Engineer position
