RPO Recruitment's client is currently seeking a Workshop Supervisor to join our client's team in Gauteng. Our client is a reputable company in the manufacturing industry, and they are looking for a skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee the operations of their workshop.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and providing comprehensive training to staff members to optimize their performance.
- Establishing and managing personnel resources effectively.
- Maintaining meticulous records of machine upkeep through detailed maintenance reports.
- Developing and overseeing daily and weekly production schedules with meticulous attention to detail.
- Personally overseeing operations to proactively identify and mitigate any operational hindrances.
- Enforcing stringent adherence to safety regulations and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
- Conducting thorough performance evaluations and constructive feedback sessions with staff members.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor specifically in the refrigerated body building and steel trailer manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent knowledge of workshop operations and processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices
- Proficiency in computer applications related to workshop management
