We are looking for an experienced and dedicated to join our museum team in Ithra as an Arts and Cultural Administration Manager. This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing the planning and administration of various aspects within the museum. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the arts, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the museum's arts and cultural programs.
- Collaborate with museum leadership to develop plans for cultural initiatives with the organization's mission and goals.
Administration:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks related to arts and cultural programs and museum personnel.
- Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation for the unit
Exhibition Planning:
- Coordinate the administrative planning and execution of museum exhibitions
- Liaise with curators, artists, and external partners to facilitate the successful delivery of exhibitions.
Programs and events Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate cultural events, lectures, workshops, and other educational programs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage logistics, scheduling, and promotion for cultural events.
Requirements
- • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Museum Studies, Cultural Management, or related field.
- • Proven minimum 7 years’ experience in arts and cultural administration, preferably in a museum setting.
- • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
- • Passion for the arts and cultural heritage.
