Spotify is looking for a Financial Systems Analyst - Financial Systems with a strong accounting background and a solid understanding of financial processes to join our Financial Systems team based in the US (East Coast Working Hours). What You'll Do
- Design and implement high quality solutions within various Financial Systems, including NetSuite, Blackline and a number of other systems.
- Analyze current processes and difficulties for our partners and shape projects to evolve these processes through improved usage of our Financial Systems.
- Influence product roadmap decisions for Financial Systems
- Solve process, application, and functional issues. Manage these through to resolution
- Project manage Finance initiatives from inception through delivery
- Grow your technical and functional expertise in a variety of financial SaaS systems, including Netsuite and Blackline
- Develop and implement end-user training programs for our systems
- Support and mentor the Financial Systems team in advanced accounting concepts and processes
- Learn new SaaS and backend technologies to support our Finance ecosystem
Who You Are
- 6+ years of experience with ERP configuration and management in a high-growth, enterprise environment. Direct experience implementing and managing Netsuite strongly preferred
- Experience onboarding and managing a variety of financial SaaS applications as part of a larger ERP ecosystem, including managing vendor evaluations, selections and implementations
- Strong functional experience with financial/accounting processes including RTR, PTP, and OTC in multi-subsidiary and currency environments
- Deep knowledge of processes supported by teams responsible for general ledger accounting, such as management of intangibles and fixed assets, multi-subsidiary consolidation processes and structures, currency revaluation and gain/loss reporting, multi/secondary ledger management, statutory reporting requirements, reconciliation automation, and close management
- Detailed understanding of the structures of standard financial reporting packages and the underlying processes which contribute to each financial statement line item.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage investigation and diagnostic skills in order to convert ambiguous requirements into effective solution delivery in complex environments
- Proven ability to build and maintain a variety of effective multi-functional relationships across technical and collaborator groups to aid in large-scale process and system improvements
- Comfortable challenging the status-quo and leading by example in improving processes and ways of working
- Excellent track record with influencing system management strategy, tactics, and execution
- Strong working knowledge of SOX frameworks and IT General Controls, particularly related to ERP/general ledger processes.
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Strong preference: CPA or equivalent accounting experience

The United States base range for this position is $136,879 -$171,099, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
