We are looking for a Middle Product Analyst who will join our Video Services team.
Video Services is a team dedicated to creating innovative video services on one of the most well-known dating platforms. We specialize in 1-on-1 video calls and streaming, and we are currently looking for an analyst who shares our passion for technology and our drive for success.
Your main tasks will be:
- Designing and conducting product experiments (defining test duration, assessing result feasibility, evaluating A/B tests, and determining significance).
- Assisting in the generation, prioritization, validation, and evaluation of hypotheses (e.g., 'What if...?').
- Identifying the causes of anomalies and deviations in key metrics, and alerting the team to any existing product issues.
- Identifying growth opportunities and hypotheses for improving key product metrics.
- Creating and maintaining product dashboards.
We expect from you:
Hard Skills:
- A degree in mathematics or technical education.
- Knowledge and experience in applying methods of mathematical statistics and probability theory.
- Proficiency with tools for data acquisition, processing, and visualization (MS SQL, Python, Excel, SuperSet).
- Experience in conducting A/B tests.
- Understanding of product and marketing metrics (LTV, CPA, Retention, CR, etc.).
Soft Skills:
- Product Thinking: Ability to think about the product in terms of user metrics and understand user behavior behind the metrics.
- System Thinking: Can think from the general to the specific and vice versa.
- Critical Thinking: Questions the nature of data/decisions and suggestions, doubts, and performs cross-checks.
