Job Description:-

Designation:- Version Control Administrator

Experience - 3 Years to 6 Years

Your responsibilities will include:-

· Manage and maintain the organization’s source code repositories (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).

· Ensure that version control practices are followed, including proper branching, merging, and tagging of code.

· Monitor code integration and ensure adherence to proper code versioning, especially in large-scale projects.

· Manage access control and security settings for the code repositories.

· Oversee the preparation and deployment of code for production releases.

· Manage version control for software builds and releases, ensuring rollback strategies are in place for any potential issues.

· Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth workflows for code integration and deployment.

· Assist in planning and executing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines to streamline software releases.

· Facilitate communication between development teams to ensure consistent practices across projects.

· Implement and maintain backup strategies for the code repositories to ensure no loss of critical assets

· Please make sure disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested for source control systems.

· Ensure tools are integrated and optimized for collaboration, security, and productivity (e.g., Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence).
